TESTIMONIALS: What Our Clients Say About Apex Solar
Vic Cooper
We were very much satisfied. I thought the job was professionally done. The components he picked out seemed to work well together. We’re still in construction and haven’t moved into our house so I don’t know about the sizing, but he did a thorough job of asking questions about our electricity use and how we would use the system.
We’re putting in a solar water and radiant floor system. I liked working with Apex Solar so much I’m asking them to help me with that, too. There very easy to work with and very knowledgeable.
Overall I enjoyed working with Apex Solar, which hasn’t been the case with other companies. I did call a few people to ask about solar installation and did Web searches, but because we were remote, a lot of people didn’t want to work with us.

I was very satisfied with the service and installation. Farrel is very knowledgeable. He has a lot of electrical engineering information. He installed the system effectively. He’s good at designing and manufacturing things. He got it installed well and made it the way I wanted it. Apex Solar is maintaining it for me too.
We have an Outback system of 3600 watts. We have computers, phones, and satellite TV. There are no power lines. We’re on a ranch in middle of the mountains and needed that system. Apex Solar is good at collecting information about how you use power to fit your needs, they also made the system adaptable so I can expand it if I want to add more rooms or other electrical functions.

Farrel got all the parts, designed the system, and did the installation. He did it quite well. We’ve had no trouble so far. The thing about Farrel is you can call him and he’s there for you. He’s definitely a good guy and stands behind his parts.

Apex Solar did a wonderful job. My husband laughs when we turn a light on because we’re not paying any PG&E bills. We have confidence in knowing this is how it will be totally off the grid. It’s neat to think of being off the grid and being very green, which is an integral part of solar power. Farrel is a straight shooter. He took something complicated and made it straightforward and easy to grasp for us. The maintenance of system was intimidating but he made it simple so I can do it. No one should be intimidated by that. All you have to do is follow a few simple steps. It’s the kind of thing to do when you’re working on being environmentally conscious.
Farrel is knowledgeable, easy to work with and demystifies things. That’s important thing at the get go when you’re starting in on something new. He was right there. He spent time walking me through the system and in thinking about building the expenses and what should be paid for when.

He’s fast, and good, and prompt, and very thorough. He’s wants things done right. He’s precise about how to do something and how to make it work right. He’s quick and did a good job for us. All’s I can say is he’s good and fair priced.

Farrel has always provided me with proper installation and given me correct data as far as the energy consumption, like how many panels I need for my well pump to run on solar, so it’s worked well. I don’t spend all that money on propane and generators. We’re pretty much off the grid. I go to him and let him know what I need as far as running refrigerator and freezers. He lets me know what I need. He helped with the installation.
I’m an electrical engineer. He advised me of what he thought that would possible. We came to a consensus and agreed on it. He really gave me a clear insight of what I needed. I see the job from the engineer side but not the installation. I understood what needed to be done, but not the tools to accomplish that goal. Farrel’s been excellent. He has an understanding of what you need. All I needed to do was explain what I wanted to accomplish.
